For those who are unaware of what Influenster is, it is a social impacting network that sends you FREE products to test out and coupons for days!!! What's the catch??? All you have to do, in order to receive more packages is to simply write a honest review about the product and take personalizes "quizzes" that determines if you are qualified to test out the latest product or not. They send anything from food & drinks, makeup & skincare, pet treats, bath & body, financial tricks/tips, to... pretty much anything you can think of.
The latest product I received was the L'Oreal Paris EverPure Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner.
**I know several people have mixed emotions towards L'Oreal Paris due to animal cruelty, I personally did not know much about this until one of my best friends mentioned it and made me look up photos.... so horrible but with a free product, I didn't want to let it go to waste. Maybe things have changed in their animal abuse, maybe it hasn't, so I genuinely apologize if this does offend anyone.**
The first thing I noticed when trying the product, the... smell... To me, it was definitely a musky scent, it honestly reminded me of dirt.... rainy muddy dirt. Once I blew it dry, it had a nice fragrance. I will say, the more I use this product, the more I have grown to like the scent.
Before I go into my opinion on the "blonde brightening/balancing" , let me go into what my hair is like.... I have N E V E R colored my hair with any types of dyes, I've always kept my natural color and natural highlights. I have always been pretty "blonde" but over the years, as I have gotten older, my hair is more of an auburn/strawberry blonde color with darker roots... I probably should start coloring it, but I am definitely not comfortable doing that.
I'm not positive if I believe that the blonde factor works or not, but using it for almost two weeks straight, I don't see a ton of a change... I do see some blonde streaks that are coming out a little more than usual, but overall... not that crazy intensifying. It may work better for a blonder toned person though.
That is all of my initial opinions about this shampoo/conditioner that I received from Influenster. I would recommend this product to someone just from the price point and the product as a whole.
