Take your time trying to get your falsies on right the first three times, or trying to find the right mascara that makes you and your lashes look alive, don't mind me... I'll just wake up and go with my lash extensions.
This is something that I have become OBSESSED with. I have always had ugly lashes and every mascara I would try never did the trick but then I was introduced to lash extensions... two words: GAME CHANGER!!! If you are like me and wear glasses 99% of the time, you feel as if you "lose" your lashes from the glasses overpowering your eyes, trust me... these will make your life so much more glam and your lashes 10x more noticeable.
The first session, your full set, takes about two hours to complete. The two hours fly by, whether you chat with the stylist or like some of my friends have- take a nap! I never understood how celebrities could be asleep while they get their makeup done, until now, it's so soothing!! First, your bottom lashes are taped down, making it so only the top lashes are being shown to the stylist... don't ask me what the stylist does, because I have NO idea, all I know is that lashes are attached to each individual lash. Once the lashes are applied, and you are able to open your eyes, your eyes will have a little burning sensation from the glue but holding a fan to your eye will ease the burning. The stylist may have to go in and alter a few lashes, whether it's cutting them down or adding a few more.
I got a "natural" set but if you are a little bit more boujee, go for the "dramatic" set! Unfortunately, these extensions aren't permanent. Like anything else, you will need "fill-ins" every 4 weeks** which will only last about 45 minutes for that appointment. Through-out the weeks, some may fall out and you will need to be protective of them in order to make them last as long as you can by brushing them frequently, be cautious when laying or sleeping on them and getting them wet. I waited a little longer than I should have for a fill-in and ended up having to get a full set again for my second time, so I was able to experience the removal process as well. A removal gel is applied to the lashes while the stylists kind of "pushes" them off, or at least that's how it felt.
I 10/10 recommend trying it at least once. I will say it can be pricey but it is by far, worth it. If you need a recommendation on WHO to go, message me ASAP!!!
